IT may not be quite as far as the 632-mile round trip facing Cherries for next week's FA cup tie at Barrow, but the fuel and energy-sapping journey ahead of Swanage and Wareham tomorrow will test their mettle.

Swans, who lost their first South West Two East game of the season last weekend, will be hoping to get back on track when they take on struggling Bletchley.

But, if Swans are to avenge last week's blip, they will need to "get the journey out of the system and get on with business", according to skipper Rob Elford.

"It's an early start and the longest trip of the season," he said of the 292-mile return trek.

"We'll try to get there as early as possible. We won't change our routine much, we'll just treat it as any other game."

Elford said his team wouldn't be taking anything for granted against second-from-bottom Bletchley and hoped the 26-18 defeat at Marlow last weekend had given his team a "kick up the backside".

He said: "Bletchley are an unknown quantity, I haven't played them before.

"They'll be targeting home games for games to win when sides have to travel all the way to them.

"So we'll expect nothing more than a hard game."

Darren Wilcox, who was unavailable last week, comes in for Chris Leak at fullback, while Richard Harwood will also start.

Swans: Wilcox, S Andrews, Grove, Graves, Parish, Harris, Beaves, M Elford, Warren, Harwood, Burgess, Penney, O Andrews, R Elford, Sheldrake. Subs: Jones, Steeden, Chadwick.
