DEFENDER Neil Young has linked up with former Cherries team-mate Jason Tindall on a month's loan at south coast neighbours Weymouth.
The Weymouth manager moved to strengthen his defence after Justin Roberts was sent-off for retaliation in the 1-0 FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round replay win at Hitchin Town on Tuesday.
Young is expected to go straight into the starting XI for tonight's Blue Square Premier clash against Aldershot Town at the Wessex Stadium (7.45pm).
The 34-year-old, who has only made four League One appearances for the Cherries this season and has also been given permission to play in Weymouth's FA Cup First Round Proper tie at Eastbourne Borough on November 10.
"It is not very often that a club like Weymouth can sign a player of the quality and experience of Neil Young," Tindall told the Dorset Daily Echo.
"He is a leader and two out of the last three seasons he has been Bournemouth's player of the year."
