RINGWOOD Town boss Jy Taylor felt his side were unfortunate not to emerge with a win from their goalless draw at Hamble ASSC.
Ringwood had plenty of chances to grab maximum points but he said knowing his team had the better of the game was a "nice feeling" and showed they had the "quality to stay up".
Taylor asked for more "confidence and arrogance" on the pitch and this resulted in a much-improved performance.
"For the first time since I've been in charge I can actually come away saying we were the best side and didn't get the win," said Taylor.
He was also pleased with the Ringwood defence, with Matt Greaves and Dan Brunnen "particularly good".
Ringwood Town: Lewis, Godwin, Greaves, Finlay (Howes 70), Kerley, Brunnen, Wright, Sajic (Hardy 80), Carroll, Bellott, Foster.
