EDDIE Howe revealed both Joshua King and Jack Stacey are set for a spell on the sidelines as they nurse respective hamstring injuries.

The pair limped off during Saturday's defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion and were absent for today's 4-0 thrashing at West Ham United.

And Howe confirmed the duo are unlikely to return before the end of the month.

The Cherries boss told the Daily Echo: "I think they’re going to be out for about five to six weeks.

"They’ve got very similar injuries. Both hamstring injuries, both been given the same grade so a massive, massive blow.

"I think we missed Josh today with his pace and the power that he brings to the team.

"Jack’s done really well, he’s improved with every game and he gives us the ability to rest one or two players that are playing when they’re not right so two big injuries for us, but hopefully we can get them back pretty soon."

King and Stacey join David Brooks (ankle), Adam Smith (ankle), Nathan Ake (hamstring), Lloyd Kelly (thigh), Arnaut Danjuma (foot) and Charlie Daniels (knee) in the treatment room.
