CHRISTER Warren felt his star strike duo produced their best performance in partnership as Wimborne Town beat Hamworthy United 2-0 at Cuthbury.
Goals either side of half-time from hotshot forwards Scott Joyce and James Stokoe proved enough for Warren's team to keep up the pressure on Wessex Premier Division leaders Poole Town.
"It was a tough, hard game - it always will be against them," Warren told the Daily Echo.
"But when you've got two strikers like that who get chances, it's likely they'll take them."
Wimborne Town: Hutchings, Phillipson-Masters, Percival, Roast, Arnold, James (Langrish), Vavrecka, McCormick, Whitcher (Warren), Joyce, Stokoe.
