ADAM Lallana insists there is plenty more to come from him - should his Dean Court loan deal get extended.
Cherries boss Kevin Bond was last night in talks with south coast neighbours Southampton in a bid to prolong Lallana's loan deal beyond the initial one-month period.
Bond, who has used the loan market astutely to add some much-needed depth to his injury-ravaged squad this season, is keen to keep hold of the young forward, who he described as a "real talent".
"I'd like to be able to keep him but I don't know if that's possible," Bond told the Daily Echo.
"We haven't had the opportunity to see the best of him.
"I wouldn't take him if I didn't think we'd see the best of him.
"He needs games, that's for sure, and we need bodies."
Lallana's one-month spell ended after Cherries' 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Leeds United on Tuesday night, when he was an unused substitute.
The Saints star and former Littledown Junior, who is a Cherries fan, echoed Bond's thoughts and insisted he would be happy to remain at Dean Court for another month.
"It's a really good club and bunch of lads - I've really enjoyed it," said the England youth international.
"It hasn't been ideal, with a couple of injuries, and I haven't really got going.
"I'd like to stay and Kevin Bond wants to keep me, but I've got to wait and see.
"I didn't have the best of times. I missed training and a couple of games and haven't had the run I'd have liked, but I've just got to bounce back a better player.
"There's definitely more to see of me if I stay another month."
The 19-year-old forward made his debut in the 1-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy second-round victory at Bristol Rovers.
Lallana was on Cherries' books as a schoolboy, but has been restricted to just two appearances for Saints, one in the Carling Cup and one in the Championship.
He also scored on his debut for England under-18s in a 2-1 win against Slovenia at Dean Court.
