ROBERT Elford has said that title glory is still Swanage and Wareham's aim despite them dropping three points in their last two games.

The Bestwall boys followed their 26-18 defeat at Marlow with a disappointing 24-24 draw at Bletchley.

Those setbacks have left Swans three points adrift of South West Division Two East leaders Chippenham.

But speaking ahead of Swans' tough home clash against Cheltenham tomorrow (2.30pm), Elford said: "We still have to play Chippenham home and away.

"It's a tough league. Chippenham will have to go very well to remain unbeaten and we're confident we can turn them over ourselves.

"There are a lot of hard games to go, but we're still targeting that top spot.

"We have a hard match this weekend in Cheltenham, who are third one point behind us.

"It's a massive game for us after the last two weeks, and they will be coming here to try and take advantage.

"They might think we will be low on confidence but we are hoping that will work to our advantage.

"To be honest, we need a tough game like this to get ourselves back in order."

Michael Snowden returns to the second row in place of unavailable Richard Harwood, while Michael McKeown is on the bench after being sidelined for a month through injury.
