CHRISTCHURCH fell in the first round of the FA Youth Cup after having Bristol Rovers "worried" for periods of the game, according to boss Andy Mills.
Priory went 2-0 down in the game at Hurn Bridge before sub Ollie Dean pulled a goal back.
But any chance of causing an upset was ended when Rovers bagged a third goal.
Mills said: "We battled and played really well. I don't think they quite expected what we had to offer."
Christchurch Youth: Collins, Hyne, Costello, Dillon (Houghton), Mardon, Martin (Dean), McMennum (S Thompson), Williams, Mills, Rolph, Cook. Unused subs: D Thompson, Stratford.
