RINGWOOD boss Jy Taylor has given the thumbs up to Friday night football after they trebled their gate for this game against Brockenhurst.
Taylor, who saw his side lose to a late brace from Ben Kneller, said: "The official attendance was 81.
"But the real figure was probably somewhere between 100 and 120 because there were about 20 committee members from both clubs and our reserve players came to watch as well.
"It was worthwhile playing on a Friday. The lads enjoyed it. They enjoyed the atmosphere of a bigger crowd.
"We had a few curious spectators who came from as far afield as Taunton and London, and The Non-League Paper had a reporter here as well.
"It was a big success and the only thing wrong was the result."
Taylor added: "It was nice to do, and we are looking at who we might possibly be able to play against at home on another Friday.
"It would only be worthwhile playing a local side like Wimborne, Poole Town, Christchurch or Poppies.
"I've spoken to our secretary to see what he can fix up, and if it is possible we would like to change our game against Christchurch on December 15 to the night before.
"Obviously they have to agree to it.
"The most important thing is that Graham Kemp and I will only do it if our players are available, and we don't have three or four players pulling out because of work commitments.
"We've also agreed to go away to Brockenhurst on a Friday in the return later in the season."
Ringwood: Lewis, Godwin, Brunnen, Kerley (Sajic, ht), Greaves (Hicks 85), Finlay, Wright, Gogan, Atkins, Foster, Carroll (Chilcott 75).
