PRIORY boss Graham Kemp stressed "the result was more important than the performance" after they won at Lymington.
Marc Burrows fired Christchurch in front early and Dan Midgley set up second half strikes for Dan Crutchley and Lee Hodder.
Kemp said: "Our performance was better in the second half because I wasn't too impressed with the first.
"It is quite tight down near the bottom and we need to pick up points on those teams down around us.
"Our next two games are in the cups so we could have got left behind if we hadn't picked up all three on Saturday.
"It was a good workmanlike performance."
Christchurch: Loader, Drew, Hughes, Linpow, Hodder, Jenvey (Lawrence 70), Crutchley, Midgley, Woolner (Woolner 65), Burrows, Rideout (Till 65). Unused subs: Coleman, Ackerman.
