JAMIE Davidson fired all four goals as Cherries' depleted youth side secured an impressive 4-0 victory at Cheltenham on Saturday.
The result was made even more outstanding given that Joe Roach, Cherries' head of youth, was having to make do without eight players because of first-team call-ups and injuries.
A trialist and some schoolboy players helped Cherries to the victory, which went some way to making up for the disappointment of losing in midweek against Oxford United in the FA Youth Cup.
Roach was delighted by his team's efforts.
He said: "Ryan Pryce kept us in the game with a couple of superb saves and we had the better of the second half by a mile.
"Jamie's goals were well made by team members, but well executed by himself.
"With the mixture of players we had I was really, really pleased. Cheltenham are a good side to be fair, but the lads fitted in very well and it was a really pleasing afternoon for the side."
Cherries Youth: Pryce, Reeve, Queere, Rose, Newton, Cooper, Finlay, Onisrusiou, Burbidge, Ings, Davidson. Subs: Webb, Stephenson, McGookin.
