PIRATES charger Zane Keleher revealed his individual target for when the campaign gets started and added: “You have to set yourself goals.”
The Rockhampton-born rider, set to make his British debut this season, will start on a four-point average in the SGB Championship.
But Aussie Keleher is confident of improving that initial figure – and set his sights on a two-point increase.
He told Speedway Portal: “You have to set yourself goals, targets and where you want to be at the end of the year.
“I set pretty big goals and you don’t always get there straight away but in the long run you do.
“The target I’ve set is six points. It’s pretty high and I may not get there but I hope I do.”
Former motocross rider Keleher has opted to remain in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic, as British speedway waits to be given the green light to start racing.
Fellow Aussie Josh MacDonald has also remained in Britain, while Ben Cook has travelled back to his homeland.
