CHERRIES’ next game in the Premier League is ‘likely’ to be the BBC’s first ever live Premier League match, according to the Telegraph.
The newspaper claims the Dorset club’s battle with Roy Hodgson’s Eagles “has been pencilled in for a Saturday night primetime slot” on June 20, subject to final ratification.
The TV slot could mean the Dean Court fixture becomes the most-watched Premier League game on UK Television.
Eddie Howe’s men were set to host Palace on March 14 at Dean Court, before the top flight was suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic a day previously.
Cherries were beaten 1-0 when the sides met at Selhurst Park back in December.
