IT'S the morning after the night before with Eddie Howe's departure shaking Cherries.
Almost eight years after returning to the club, Howe left by mutual consent last night after Cherries were relegated following five seasons in the Premier League.
And fans have taken to Twitter to express their gratitude to their former boss, whose professional association with Cherries began as a player way back in 1995.

I am sure that there can have been very few occasions in footballing history to match the almost universal grief shown by supporters at the departure of Eddie Howe from #afcb

The end of an era. Absolutely gutted ๐ Whoever comes in has to fill the boots of a Bournemouth legend and continue Eddie's dream. Good luck with that! Max needs to have someone special lined up to get out of this oneย #afcb #ThankYouEddie pic.twitter.com/GinMnrisZ5
