JACK Wilshere is training with Cherries to keep up his fitness, the Daily Echo understands.
The 28-year-old midfielder has been a free agent since cancelling his contract with West Ham by mutual consent back in October.
Former Arsenal star Wilshere played 27 times for Cherries in the Premier League during the 2016-17 campaign, having joined on a season-long loan from the Gunners.
He helped Eddie Howe’s men record their highest ever league finish, ending the season ninth in the top flight.
The Daily Echo understands Cherries are helping free agent Wilshere keep up his fitness levels as he looks to find a new club.
It is understood there is, at present, no deal in place for the club to sign the Stevenage-born star on a permanent basis.
Speaking to TalkSPORT earlier this season, Wilshere said: “I just want to be happy playing football again.
“When I first signed for West Ham and the first three games when I started, before I picked up a little injury, that was probably the last time I could tell you I was happy playing football.
“I want to go back on the pitch with a smile on my face and play 20 to 30 games a season where I am an important player for a team.”
