DEFENDERS Corey Jordan and Dinesh Gillela are among a group of youngsters to be released by Cherries.

Following the expiry of their contracts, the pair are now set to depart Vitality Stadium.

Jordan, 22, made one first-team appearance for Cherries.

He joined the club as a seven-year-old, progressing through the club's academy, and made his senior bow under Eddie Howe in September 2016, coming off the bench in a 3-2 extra time defeat at Preston North End in the League Cup.

Since, the Bournemouth-born ace has spent time out on loan at Eastbourne Borough and Weymouth, having recovered from a serious knee injury.

Under-21s skipper Gillela also departs.

He captained the club to two trophies this season, lifting the Central League Cup and Hampshire Senior Cup, but never played for the first team.

Also among those to exit are Tyler Cordner and Frank Vincent, who both spent time out on loan in the Football League this season.

George Hunt, Keelan O'Connell, Joe Besant, Brandon Channell and Abdi Mohamed have also all not been retained.

Within the under-21s squad, Brennan Camp, Ryan Glover, Zeno Ibsen Rossi and Luke Nippard are all set to stay, after Cherries activated one-year options within their contracts.

Nathan Moriah-Welsh, Connor Kurran-Browne, Brooklyn Genesini and Ben Greenwood have all been offered new deals.

Meanwhile eight of the club's under-18s have been offered a third-year scholarship in Matt Burgess, Josh Clarke, Tarik Gidaree, Jake Adams, Aaron Roberts, Jack Seddon, Billy Terrell and Jack Wadham.
