HEAD coach Scott Parker admitted he was “not sure” whether Arnaut Danjuma would be at Cherries at the start of the season.
Speculation has been rife over the Dutchman’s future, with Villareal understood to have had a bid rejected earlier in the window.
Parker confirmed a bid had been turned for the former PSV youngster.
Asked whether Danjuma would be at Cherries for the start of the campaign, Parker replied: “Not sure, to be honest with you.
“Obviously we are in a transfer window at this moment in time. The club have rejected a bid for Arnie.”
The Cherries winger was not involved as the Dorset club were beaten 2-1 in their final pre-season game by Chelsea this evening.
“The reason Arnie is not involved tonight is because he’s injured. I think he has been struggling with a bit of an injury,” added Parker.
“He is slowly coming through that but still not trained with the team.
“But like everything. I sit here and you have a good quality player in your side. It goes for every player doesn’t it, in the team. The transfer window is open.
“We will have to see, once it’s said and done we will see what happens.”
