On a day when all bar one of the Bournemouth FA teams were successful in county cup competition, Kinson Conservatives' never-say-die' spirit enabled them to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in the third round of the Hampshire Junior A Cup.

Kinson were in dire straits, 3-0 down away to Weybridge but goalscoring legend Pete Valinski weighed in with four and Shayne Varley added another in a magnificent comeback to give them the verdict 5-4 after extra time.

Umix were also involved in an odd-goal thriller and Ben Toghill, Mike La Ronde, Sam Read, and James Hanslip gave them the edge 4-3 against AFC Kestrel in the third round of the Hampshire Junior B Cup.

Anthony Griffin and Darren Greaves bagged two apiece in Roko Reserves' 6-3 fourth round triumph over Stronstad United with Danny Rattew and Jes Horgan adding one each.

Boscombe Albion squeezed through 2-1 against Gosport Rangers thanks to a couple of goals from Dean Feltham, while Magpies & Woolsbridge United went down 4-1 to Yately Green AFC Reserves.

Phil Davies, Sandor Wilson, Matt Hodgson, and David Ashford gave Lovett the upper hand 4-2 against Lennons in the fourth round of the Hampshire Junior C Cup and Ace Fabrication join them in the next round after Callum Lunn and Christopher Meiron-Jones put paid to AFC Bench Warmers 2-1.

Dave Wrixton netted for AFC Parkstone but the Division Five side bowed out of the MA Hart Robbins Cup in the fifth round when Churchill Arms from Division Six edged them out 2-1 courtesy of a couple of goals from Nathan Welch.
