FRONTMAN Sam Surridge has completed his permanent move to Stoke City.
The Ferndown-raised striker has joined the Potters on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The Daily Echo understands the transfer to be worth around £5.5million, including add-ons.
Surridge came through the ranks at Vitality Stadium, having progressed to make 42 senior appearances for the club, scoring seven times.
He also featured on loan for the likes of Weymouth, Poole Town, Yeovil, Oldham and Swansea.
Speaking about his newest recruit, Stoke boss Michael O’Neill told the Potters’ website: “In terms of a permanent signing Sam has been our number one striking option that we identified.
“We’ve had to be very patient but it’s great to get it done.
“He’s a young player with all his best years ahead of him and he will be a fantastic addition to our squad.”
A statement from Cherries said: “The club would like to thank Sam for all his efforts and wish him well for the future.”
