CHERRIES are poised to add Champions League winning centre-back Gary Cahill to their squad on a free-transfer, the Daily Echo understands.
The 35-year-old, who won 61 caps for England, has been a free agent since his contract expired at Crystal Palace this summer.
Cahill boasts an illustrious CV which also includes two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and two Europa League winners medals.
He played alongside Cherries head coach Scott Parker for the Three Lions at international level and looks set to add some experience to the Dorset outfit’s youthful ranks at present.
Having played 394 times at England’s elite level, Cahill kept 103 clean sheets having also represented Aston Villa and Bolton in the top flight.
