CHERRIES have agreed a fee with Swansea City to sign striker Jamal Lowe, the Daily Echo understands.
Scott Parker has made no secret of his wishes to add a forward to his squad to compete with Dominic Solanke.
And the Echo understands the two clubs have agreed a price of £1.5million.
Cherries have until 11pm tonight to get the possible move over the line.
Solanke is the club's only senior striker at present, following the departure of Sam Surridge to Stoke City.
Lowe, 27, has been at Swansea for around a year, netting 14 goals in 52 appearances last season as the club reached the Championship play-off final.
He played in both fixtures between the Swans and Cherries last season.
Harrow-born Lowe played for numerous non-league clubs, during loan spells away from his first team Barnet.
He got his big break back into the Football League with Portsmouth in 2016, netting 30 goals in 119 appearances featuring mainly as a winger, before moving to Wigan and then Swansea.
During his time at Pompey, Lowe helped the club to promotion from League Two and also EFL Trophy glory. He was named in the 2018-19 PFA League One team of the year.
Lowe, a former England C player, made his international debut for Jamaica earlier this year, netting against USA.
