CHERRIES’ fans were treated to a deadline day of drama with two top-drawer incomings.
Forward Jamal Lowe joined from fellow Championship side Swansea, after reaching the play-offs with them last season, and will hope to bring goals and dynamism to Cherries’ attack.
He is joined by Ryan Christie, formerly of Celtic, who will link up with Cherries after he represents Scotland during the upcoming break.
Although a reported deal for Dominic Quina fell short, supporters will unsurprisingly be pleased with their club’s business on August 31.
The mega-money Villareal move for Arnaut Danjuma no doubt allowed the Cherries board to open up the purse and excite fans once more.
Here’s how they reacted on social media…
Really solid window, I feel like we’ve really missed out on quina, big time, kinda mad about that but can’t complain with what we’ve managed to do 9/10 for me #afcb

#afcb It looks like we've done our transfer business. Who'd have thought we'd sign players? Keep others who were certain to go? Help balance our position with some sales and wages off the books? That'll be the management who don't know what they're doing. Come on Boscombe!

Really pleased with this window from the 🍒. Lowe, Christie, Marcondes etc… shows a clear intent for promotion if you ask me. #afcb

Decent stuff at #afcb today. Thought Lowe was decent at Pompey but ended up going to Wigan and then Swansea. Watched enough of the SPL to know Christie will be class, he scored some crackers for Celtic.

Smashing transfer window. Yet to have a full squad but unbeaten. This squad after the int break will only be missing Cook. Very strong squad to chose from now.

Only downside for me is seeing Saydee,Zeno,Dennis and possibly Gav possibly not getting loads of gametime #afcb
Fantastic window for #afcb 🍒 let’s go!!

Cracking window all things considered. Woodman would have been a good addition but wasn’t to be. Play-off spot minimum I’d say now #afcb https://t.co/Z6KeAEPUlz

It’s great to see #afcb signing established players entering the peak of their career. Not something we’ve really done before. I hope we still keep an eye on lower leagues for rising stars
