LEWIS Cook and Emiliano Marcondes played 90 minutes for Cherries’ development side, as they drew 1-1 in a friendly against Wycombe Wanderers.

The first-team members, as well as goalkeeper Orjan Nyland, were named in the starting XI for Shaun Cooper’s side at Adams Park.

Midfielder Cook is continuing his recovery from a serious knee injury, sustained when he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in a Championship clash at Preston back in March.

Speaking to the media last week, first-team boss Scott Parker said Cook was one game away from being “selectable” for his side.

Marcondes has not featured in the league for Cherries since August, where he played 81 minutes of a goalless draw at Hull City.

Since then, the Danish summer signing has been an unused substitute in Cherries’ past nine league fixtures.

Wycombe took the lead after half-time when a trialist slotted home after the ball was cut back from the left.

But Cherries got their equaliser in rapid fashion, however. Ben Greenwood’s cross was spilled by keeper Adam Przybek, allowing Nathan Moriah-Welsh the chance to tap home.
