CARL Foster blasted a second half penalty over the bar as Ringwood wasted a golden opportunity to boost their hopes of avoiding the drop.
With games rapidly running out, Jy Taylor's side would have gone 2-1 in front if Foster had netted after Luke Gogan had been pushed inside the box.
It was not to be, however, after Gogan had levelled from close range following a good move involving Foster and Nick Russon.
Olly Buckett had fired Brading in front following a suicidal pass across his own 18-yard box by Ringwood defender Sean Leadbetter.
Ringwood boss Taylor said: "We had the chances to win it but we missed that second half penalty.
"If we are going to get out of trouble this is a game we should have won."
Ringwood: Rhodes, Greaves, Leadbetter, Wright, Brunnen, Pierson, Foster (Bellot 75), Gogan, Carroll (Hardy 45), Russon, Taylor (Atkins 80). Unused subs: Sajic, Lewis.
