CHIEF executive Laurence Jones stepped in to address a group of angry supporters following Cherries' dismal 4-1 defeat by Southend on Saturday.
Around 25 fans held a peaceful demonstration at the back of the North Stand immediately after the final whistle had sounded at Dean Court.
They chanted "We shall not be moved" and "We want Bondy out" and seemed reluctant to disperse after being asked to leave both by stewards and an announcement over the Tannoy.
But they eventually made their way out of the ground just seconds after Jones had approached them and requested them to end their protest.
Some supporters continued to vent their frustrations at the club's current plight outside the main entrance.
Cherries are seven points adrift at the foot of League One and recently submitted a notice of intention to appoint an administrator.
Chairman Jeff Mostyn declined to elaborate on the situation when approached by the Daily Echo following Saturday's game.
However, he did confirm that an update on the club's position should be available later this week.
It is understood that the club currently has a period of protection from its creditors and could request an extension of this facility. It is believed that the current period expires on Wednesday and not today as previously understood.
