CHERRIES chief executive Neill Blake insists the five deals delivered on deadline day “speaks volumes” for the direction the club is moving in.
Scott Parker’s side secured the loan signing of Freddie Woodman from Newcastle on Monday afternoon, before Nat Phillips arrived on loan from Liverpool later in the day.
Kieffer Moore was next through the door on a permanent move from Cardiff City, before winger Siriki Dembele joined from Peterborough.
And playmaker Todd Cantwell was announced as Cherries’ fifth signing, on loan from Norwich during a frantic day at Vitality Stadium.
Those moves also went with deals secured for Ethan Laird and James Hill earlier in the month.
Blake told the club website: “We are delighted with the business we have done today (Monday) and in the window as a whole.
"We have signed five excellent players who add significant quality to our squad. All of those coming into the club perfectly fit the profile of player we were looking for, and I’ve no doubt they will hit the ground running here.
"As with James Hill and Ethan Laird earlier this month, these players had many other options but have chosen to join us which speaks volumes for the club, Scott Parker and the direction we are moving in.”
