CHERRIES' new striker Kieffer Moore chose to remain tight-lipped over claims he forced his way out of Cardiff City.
The 29-year-old joined Cherries on deadline day, penning a three-and-a-half year deal with the Dorset club.
The Wales international was strongly linked with a move away all month, having also been reportedly wanted by Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer.
Following his departure, Cardiff boss Steve Morison claims Moore had "effectively forced" his way out of the south Wales club by handing in a transfer request.
Morison said: "After the game on Sunday (against Nottingham Forest), I actually left and had to come back to the stadium because there was movement.
"We were still ‘no’, then obviously it got to (Monday) and the final nail in the coffin was the transfer request.
"We needed to make a decision and we were always ready and waiting if something happened."
He added: "We still didn’t want to sell him. We wanted him to turn his form around and be a part of what we're doing.
"He had a contract next year and an option on him, so had him for a good bit of time.
"But he really wanted the move, effectively forced the move in the end with the transfer request. There’s no point keeping people who don’t want to be here.
"We need people who want to be here and want to fight and keep pushing us on. It suited everyone in the end."
Following his move to Cherries being completed, Moore took to social media to bid farewell to the Cardiff fans.
He ended his Instagram message saying: "Don't believe everything you read in the paper."
Asked for his version of events on his exit from Cardiff and the reports which have since come out from media in south Wales, Moore told the Daily Echo: "I’ll be honest, I’m not going to really talk too much about it.
"I think what I wrote (on Instagram), I stand by that. But I’m not going to talk too much about it.
"I don’t want to cloud over anything. I’ll just leave it at what I said. Maybe one day I’ll say."
Moore scored five times in 22 league appearances for the Bluebirds this campaign, a drop from his prolific 20-goal campaign in 2020-21.
His final game for Cardiff came in a 3-0 defeat to Scott Parker’s side at Vitality Stadium in December, where he suffered an ankle injury.
