CHERRIES are one of an array of clubs reportedly showing interest in centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The Tottenham defender spent last season on loan at Vitality Stadium, originally signing under Jason Tindall before featuring under Jonathan Woodgate.

In total, Carter-Vickers played 26 times in all competitions while on loan from Spurs last season, helping the Dorset club reach the Championship play-offs.

TeamTALK are reporting the 24-year-old, who is currently on loan at Celtic, is being monitored by Leicester, West Ham, Wolves, Burnley and Watford in the top flight.

The same report details Middlesbrough, West Brom and Cherries as “also showing interest”.

Carter-Vickers came through the academy at Spurs, but has been loaned out to the likes of Sheffield United, Ipswich, Swansea, Stoke, Luton and Cherries – as well as his latest spell at Parkhead.

He has played 25 times for the Hoops.

Speaking about the United States international in May last year, former Cherries boss Woodgate said: “In my view, he needs to find a home.

“He needs to find a home and really cement a home and have that place where he’s going to play week in, week out.

"I think if I’m speaking for Cam, he’ll want that. He’ll want to try and find a home.

"I can’t see him wanting to be loaned out again and I’m sure he’d want to find a home and somewhere to settle. But he’s a really top player."
