BOSS Scott Parker was hopeful Jaidon Anthony would be fit to return for Cherries’ Championship clash at Preston on Saturday.
The winger missed the Dorset club’s 2-1 victory over Stoke City yesterday, after picking up a knock.
Anthony had played every fixture of Cherries’ Championship campaign ahead of the clash with the Potters.
Parker told the Daily Echo: “Jaidon Anthony is just carrying a bit of a knock, so he missed the game with that.
“Hopefully he will be back for the next game.
“Ryan Christie as well, hopefully we can get a couple more back.”
The Cherries boss also gave an update on Liverpool loanee Nat Phillips, who was a late withdrawal from the victory over the Potters.
“Nat Phillips went ill last night (Friday), so obviously was unselectable,” added the Cherries boss.
Victory over Stoke was the Dorset club’s fourth win on the bounce in the division.
