SCOTT Parker offered a reassuring update on Leif Davis's injury concern, revealing: "It doesn't look too bad."
Leeds United loanee Davis was withdrawn during the first half of Saturday's 2-0 victory over Derby County due to a hip flexor issue.
Speaking after the weekend victory, Parker said: "He seems to have done his hip flexor, felt his hip flexor. It seems a problem, but it’s too early to know at the moment.
"We’ll have to see how he is."
Asked for an update on the 22-year-old's fitness last night, Parker told the Daily Echo: "It doesn’t look that bad, no.
"It doesn’t look bad at all really. I don’t think it’s going to be too long."
Davis was replaced in the starting XI by Jordan Zemura for Tuesday's disappointing 1-1 draw with Reading.
