IT IS not everyday a local side reaches the semi-final of a competition, with Hamworthy United one win away from Wembley.
They take on Buckinghamshire outfit Newport Pagnell Town tomorrow afternoon, knowing full well what victory can bring.
Perhaps luck will play a part in proceedings, and judging by the amount of messages the club have received on social media, it appears they have been wished enough luck to win numerous ties.
Hammers boss Tim Sills told the Daily Echo: “They’re certainly starting to drip through now, a few people. The football world is a great family in these occasions, so a lot of well-wishes coming through now.
“I'm sure that will continue through tomorrow morning, which is great. It's nice to know that we've got a lot of support from beyond just the Hamworthy walls.”
Here are just a few of the well wishes being shared, with former players and rival clubs encouraging the Hammers.
Even local politicians are backing Hamworthy, with the Mayor of Poole Julie Bagwell sending a card to the club.
There will be a full-length feature interview with Tim Sills in tomorrow's Daily Echo.
