FULHAM secured their immediate return to the Premier League with a 3-0 win over Preston North End last night.
Marco Silva's men have led the way in the Championship for most of the season, but went into their fixture at Craven Cottage last night on the back of two defeats.
However, knowing victory against Preston would guarantee a return to the top flight, with four games to spare, the Cottagers grabbed their opportunity.
Unsurprisingly, Aleksandar Mitrovic led the charge, bagging a brace which takes his overall record in the league this season to a staggering 40 goals from 40 appearances.
Fabio Carvalho also found the net as the hosts led 3-0 at half-time, before easing to the win they needed.
Fulham sit nine points clear of Cherries, having played a game more, and head to Vitality Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
Scott Parker's men look well-placed to join Fulham in promotion, currently four points ahead of third-placed Huddersfield Town with two games in hand.
Parker left Fulham last summer following relegation from the Premier League, to join Cherries.
