CHERRIES fans got their first look of the club’s new third kit, but what was fan reaction like on Twitter?
After unveiling a somewhat divisive home shirt last week, the Premier League club revealed their alternate strip, a classy black number with a simple gold and white trim.
The kit also has the motto ‘Everyone, Together’ placed on the neck of the shirt, with Cherries’ diversity campaign taking centre stage.
A statement accompanying the kit release drew comparisons to the black and white imagery of the campaign, and the design of the new shirt.

As with all reaction to kits, there were a few mixed responses, but the overwhelming feeling on Twitter seems to indicate that the third strip has gone down well with the Cherries faithful.
Some fans also took the time to speculate to what the final kit will look like, with Cherries yet to announce their away strip for their Premier League return.
Here are a few of the Tweets from Cherries fans regarding their team’s new kit:
That third kit is just perfection. Spot on again @afcbournemouth #afcb

Very hard to get an all black kit wrong mind you.
Jeff is going to look real menacing in it 🤣.
Saving the away kit to last probably means it's going to be bonkers (not that Thet is necessarily a bad thing).
Away 13/14 vibes #AFCB pic.twitter.com/GCcYPDK4R0

Although I do love a black shirt, this looks pretty boring to me but I’ll reserve judgement until I see it in the flesh….. #afcb https://t.co/pOSd96SgEx

Black kit looks a darn sight better than that other monstrosity #afcb

Well, I don't hate it, but cannot get the image of the sponsorless third kit just looking like something the physio/touchline staff would wear.

Love the message, however. #afcb
