CHERRIES Women have been handed a home start to the 2022-23 campaign, with Steve Cuss’s side set to welcome newly-promoted AFC St Austell Ladies at the Macra Community Stadium.
Cuss’s Cherries will be hoping to go one better next term after finishing as runners-up in the Women’s National League Division One South West, the fourth tier of the women’s game.
South West Regional Women’s Premier League champions St Austell will travel across the south coast from Cornwall to face Cherries on Sunday, August 21.
The side will then travel to Portishead the following weekend, on Sunday, August 28.
Home comforts will be hard to come by for Cherries during the business end of the season, with five out of their seven final games set to be on the road.
Their final home game will come against Maidenhead United on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
They will then end their season in West Sussex, away at Selsey on Sunday, April 30.
