LEE Cutler insisted he was “blessed” to see so many people supporting him as he recorded a points victory in front of his home fans in Bournemouth.

The man nicknamed ‘Chaos’ was judged to have beaten durable Tanzanian Meshack Mwankemwa 58-56 by referee Mark Lyson, in a pulsating contest at the BIC.

It improves the super-welterweight’s professional record to 11 wins and just one defeat.

Cutler told the Daily Echo: “Wow. Did you hear the atmosphere? It was incredible. I am just blessed that people support me and they like me enough to buy tickets off me. It really makes me proud.”

Assessing his performance as a whole, the Kev Thorniley-trained puncher believes he can offer much more.

“Great win but I think it’s about a three out of 10. I am hard on myself. I know I am going to get a rollicking off Kev because I didn’t listen to him at times,” he added.

“I didn’t respect his (Mwankemwa’s) power up close, so when I got lazy I sat there but we are going to live and we are going to learn off of performances like that.

“I need more opponents like that when I rock them, they are not just going to get scared because I hit too hard and just go down, like a few of my opponents have done.

“I need more fights like that to get the best out of me.”
