SCOTT Parker says new signing Marcos Senesi "will be involved in some capacity" against Manchester City at the weekend, but stopped short of confirming if he is ready to start the contest.
The centre-back arrived from Feyenoord this week, putting pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at Cherries.
The Argentina international was heavily involved in pre-season for the Eredivisie outfit and could make his Cherries debut at the home of the champions on Saturday (3pm).
Discussing his latest recruit, Parker said: "I'm pleased we've managed to get Marcos in, a player we had our eye on.
"A South American defender, aggressive, front-foot defender which I'm pleased to have and I'm looking forward to working with, definitely.
"He's come off a bit of a low week regarding last week, because of the transfer.
"And this week we've progressed him slowly because of that.
"We don't want to rush into anything. But for sure he will be involved in some capacity at the weekend."
