WINGER Ryan Christie has made good on a promise he pledged to the Daily Echo back in November – getting a Cherries tattoo after helping the club to promotion last term.
The Scottish international is no stranger to marking his body, with his skin adorned with multiple tattoos, with the vast majority he admits being “nonsense”.

However, he shared that he would get one with some meaning behind it, stating that if the Dorset outfit earned a return to the top flight last year, he would add some Cherries to his collection of tattoos.
The Scot mooted multiple places on his body to position the tat, including on his chest near his heart or on his leg, next to some pre-existing bananas.
Instead, Christie revealed Cherries’ official Twitter account that he has placed the fruit on his left arm, amongst a variety of other tattoos, including a paper airplane.
A promise is a promise 👀

He shared: “Ryan Christie here – I’m sure some of you remembered that I promised to get a Cherries tattoo, if we got promoted last year.
“I’m a man of my word.”
“We officially have a Cherries on my arm, amongst all the other nonsense I have. Up the Cherries!”
Christie made his Premier League debut against Aston Villa last Saturday, making a cameo appearance off the bench in a 2-0 win.
The former Celtic star will be in contention for Cherries’ trip to Manchester City this weekend.
