CHERRIES fans have voiced their opinion after the club announced they had sacked Scott Parker this morning.
The 41-year-old England international was appointed in June 2021 following the expiration of Jonathan Woodgate’s contract.
He took charge of 55 games for the Dorset club, winning 28 times to help the Dorset club seal promotion from the Championship last season.
Here is what fans have been saying on social media following the head coach’s departure…
Nail in the coffin was Saturday's post-match comments which basically told the players he doesn't rate them and annoyed the owner and board.

He threw the players under the bus at the weekend, and moaned about our lack of spending...no board will stand for that

When working relationships break down, there’s only one winner…the owner! Well done Max! Together, anything is possible.

Mixed reaction as he got us back to the premier league but also his negativity at the start of the season has been tough to deal with !!!

I think the Liverpool result along with his comments meant that the board lost confidence in him. The displays along with scorelines were getting worse, that together with his comments gave the board no choice.

Lack of respect shown towards the players and owner was wrong and he’s paid the price.

Didn't have a problem with him after Arsenal or Man City, they were always going to be losses. But the way he spoke after the Liverpool match (regardless of the scoreline) was unacceptable, plain and simple. You're supposed to back your players, not slate them.
