MOST of the Hayward Sunday League fixtures were postponed but they breed 'em tough in Division 10 where none of the games were called off because of wet pitches.
Liam Meldrum struck for Rossmore Athletic but their 16-game unbeaten run ended in a shock 3-1 defeat against Winton Wanderers whose goals came from Craig Woods, Rob Pitman, and Chris Soall.
Victory earned Winton the A1 Windscreens' team-of-the-week award.
Second-placed Talbot Park were also beaten when promotion rivals Newtown Rovers just got the better of them 2-1 with goals from Ben Leslie and Adam Jones. Ryan Trickey replied for Talbot.
Lovett have the games in hand to make a late bid for a promotion place and they were 3-1 winners against Boscombe Celtic Reserves with goals from Carl Sly, Sandor Wilson and Phil Davies.
Ashley Lane and Shaun Gold scored two apiece in Forest Heath's 5-2 victory over Fiveways United. Henry Thornton was the other Forest Heath scorer with Neil Clark getting both goals for Fiveways.
ROVERS DROP POINTS
Queens Park Rovers are three points adrift of Division Two leaders Vienna Windows after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Kinson Conservative.
Garry Hepple scored both goals when Christchurch Royals shaded it 2-1 against Eurasat Lions to open up a three-point lead at the top of Division Three, while Marvin Fayer-Honour scored all three goals in Priory Quays' 3-1 victory over Premier Sports. Marc Scammell scored Premier's consolation goal.
Kevin Slapp and Mark Watts netted for bottom-placed Hollies in Division Four but they were on the receiving end again when Ferndown Locomotive gave them a 6-2 drubbing with goals from Simon Rushent (2), Simon Candy, Kyle Eaton and Keith Jackson.
AFC Parkstone are nine points behind Pinocchio with five games in hand on the Division Five pacesetters after polishing off promotion rivals Walkford 4-0 through Ben Corbin, Dave Wrixton, Dan Mackay and an own goal, while Boscombe Albion scuppered tailenders Realty Lettings Rangers courtesy of Dean Feltham and an own goal.
FIVE-STAR COLLINS
AFC Bransgore A are perilously close to the relegation zone in Division Seven after Bourne-mouth Electric A upended them 3-0 with goals from Dave Weeden, Carl Rogers and Craig Launder.
Richard Collins was the five-goal star when second-placed Queens Park Rovers Reserves thrashed tailenders Priory Quays Reserves 8-0 in Division Eight with Sam Mole, Matt Doughty and Craig Bendall completing the rout.
Simon Jones and Jason Edwards netted for DH Britannia but Shamrock move ominously into second place in Division Nine after Nick Hamilton (2), Sean Rowson, Gavin Oberholzer and Matt Morum gave them the upper hand 5-2. Shamrock are level on points with Riversmeet but have two games in hand on the leaders.
