CHERRIES will be hoping for a sympathetic ear when they face an FA disciplinary panel after admitting their players had failed to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion.
The charges were brought by the FA following Cherries' incident-packed 2-0 defeat by League One rivals Doncaster at Dean Court last month.
Cherries were reported by referee Andy D'Urso after several players had surrounded the official following the first-half dismissal of Shaun Cooper who saw red for a second booking.
Cooper was sent packing following an altercation with Richie Wellens, while Rovers duo Jason Price and Mark McCammon were also yellow carded.
Cherries subsequently admitted the charge and also requested a plea of mitigation so they can put forward their case for a reduced punishment.
And although they are likely to be fined, Cherries are hoping an FA disciplinary panel will take their previous good record into consideration when it sits in the next few weeks.
