JAMES Burden's early goal proved scant consolation as Christchurch suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of impressive Brockenhurst last night.
Graham Kemp was left fuming after three second-half strikes ruined what looked like being a productive night for Priory.
Burden opened the scoring in the 12th minute but Steve Linpow's spectacular own goal gifted Brock an equaliser.
And the hosts collapsed after the break as goals from Dave Wakefield, Mark Clothier and Luke Ansell earned the points.
Christchurch: Collins, Dand, Taylor, Linpow, Dillon, Jenvey, Lawrence (Borthwick, 72), Burden, Glasspool, Burrows (Cook, 61), Rideout. Unused subs: Walliss, Manning, Reis.
