WIMBORNE must gain a revenge victory over Bournemouth Poppies at Cuthbury tonight (7.45pm) if they are to eat into Totton's nine-point lead at the top of the Sydenhams Premier.
Totton beat Romsey 2-0 at home yesterday, but Magpies have three matches in hand and a superior goal difference, plus 80 to plus 78.
It will be a tough test for Wimborne though as Poppies triumphed 2-0 at Victoria Park on Boxing Day.
Wimborne have an unchanged squad but Poppies bring back Lamin Dibba, Ollie Cherrett and Rich McCabe.
Wimborne: (from) Walker-Harris, Jones, Percival, Phillipson-Masters, Bailey-Pearce, S Arnold, Woods, McCormick, Warren, Whitcher, Joyce, Stokoe, Vavrecka, Blackburn, Haysom, Hutchings.
Poppies: (from) Kearn, Beckett, L Phillips, Crow, Morrell, M Smith, Dancer, Sanderson, Strong, Barnes, Jeffes, Constable, White, M Toy, Wood, Dibba, Cherrett, McCabe.
