TOM Killick has refused to put down Poole Town's Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division title capitulation to nerves.
Dolphins crashed to an agonising 2-1 derby defeat at Hamworthy United on Wednesday night, hot on the heels of Saturday's dour 0-0 draw with Moneyfields at Tatnam.
But while Wimborne Town boss Christer Warren hinted that championship nerves may have engulfed his Magpies side in their 1-0 loss to Bournemouth Poppies on Tuesday, Killick moved to dismiss suggestions of the jitters taking hold of his troops.
Killick, whose side meet Cowes Sports at Tatnam tomorrow (3pm), told the Echo: "I didn't feel we were particularly tense against Hamworthy. We just couldn't get that second goal.
"Outwardly, and before Wednesday night, we were saying we still had a strong chance, but I think deep down we thought we were very much on the outside of the title race."
Dan Cann is suspended for tomorrow's clash against the Islanders, while Aaron Skelton (knee) and Andy Culliford (groin) are both injury doubts. Stuart Brown is unavailable.
