DEFENDING champions Remedy Oak are back on the victory trail after winning their International Fairways week in Portugal.
Club professional Nigel Tokely led the team of eight players to a 36-point winning margin over five days of competition at courses near Lisbon.
Remedy also claimed the top two positions in the individual competition with winner Mike Compton and runner-up Selwyn Burke.
Five-handicapper Compton won a three-day return trip for two back to Portugal as his prize.
Other members of the victorious Remedy team were Mannis Cannie, Keith Miller, Stephen Bennett, Paul Torrible and David Murray.
One of the host courses was Oitavos Dunes which hosts the Portuguese Open on April 3.
Remedy, who won the overall title at the play-offs on their home course last year, travel to Stoneham for this year's grand finale.
They will be joined by the winners from the seven other weekly events held in Portugal, Spain, France and Scotland.
