BEN Paulley - runner-up in the Dorset indoor singles final last year - attempts to go one better in this season's final at Bournemouth on Sunday (10am).
Last year the junior international lost 21-13 to Andrew Voss and this time he meets the other Voss brother, 19-year-old Nick.
Both Nick Voss and Paulley overcame Bournemouth opposition in the semi-finals.
Voss, who carried off the under-25 crown last season, accounted for Kevin Downs while Paulley ended the ambitions of John O'Donnell 21-12. Paulley stood at 12-12 before rattling off four ends for victory.
Downs and O'Donnell, however, can still capture a trophy double as they are through to the finals of the pairs as well as the fours in the Chris Daniels rink.
In the fours, Bournemouth trailed 6-2 and were still 17-14 adrift until scoring seven shots without reply over the last four ends to deflate Robbie Ward, George Spracklen, Alan Newton and Dave Joslin from Dorchester 21-17.
Bournemouth's opponents in the fours are Chris Lawrence, Chris Weekes, Phil Lawrence and Paulley who disposed of Martin Puckett's Moonfleet rink 20-13 in the semi-final.
Paulley is in the under-25 final too against Puckett while Chris Lawrence goes for the under-18 crown. He will also be facing Puckett.
Sunday's timetable at Bournemouth sees the singles and pairs at 10am with the triples (Mike Beales of Bournemouth against Paulley) and the under-18s at 2pm.
The under-25 final takes place on Tuesday and the fours next Wednesday.
Both matches will be played at Bournemouth with a 6.30pm start time.
