SOUTHBOURNE'S success in cup competitions this season has caused the fixture congestion that has seen them battling out a 1-1 midweek draw with Bournemouth Electric in Division One before walloping Westover Bournemouth 6-0.
Their marksmen against Westover were Adie Chavez-Munoz (2), Gareth Barnes, Jason Morgan, Gareth Weigh and Tony Krunic.
Southbourne play in the first of their two MA Hart cup finals this Thursday night at Hurn Bridge (kick-off 7.30pm) when they meet Old Oakmeadians in the Pickford Cup.
Finishing empty handed after last season's clean sweep of all the trophies must be a bitter pill for Suttoners Civil to swallow but they showed great character when they bounced back with a resounding 7-1 triumph over Hamworthy Recreation courtesy of Wayne Doe's hat-trick and two apiece from Joe Kittle and Luke McArdle.
Paul Gulliver netted for Redlynch and Woodfalls United but Karl Foster salvaged a 1-1 draw for Verwood Town Reserves when he equalised a minute from the end.
Martin Huntley netted for Trinidad but bottom-placed Redhill emerged 4-1 winners thanks to Peter Valinski (2), James Vallory and Paul Tiller.
FERNDOWN'S TITLE GLORY
Ferndown Town clinched the Division Two title in a 6-2 triumph over Allendale courtesy of Craig Robinson's hat-trick and further goals from Dean Evans, Mike Haskell and Danny Moore.
Daniel Cocorachio struck twice for Parley Sports, but Urban Bournemouth upended them 5-2 with a four-goal blast from Dominic Bruce and a James Rayner effort.
Gavin Fayer settled the issue 1-0 for Mudeford Mens Club against Fordingbridge Turks while Alf Andrew led the way with four in Westover Bournemouth A's 8-1 thrashing of Bournemouth A with Marc Marengo and Dale Walters adding two each.
- The manager-of-the-month curse' struck again when Dorset Knob's unbeaten record was ruined in a 3-1 defeat against Division Three leaders Harrington United. Ryan Toms, Ben Osborne and Ben Mowlam were the United scorers with Darren Facer replying for Dorset Knob.
Third-placed St Mary's were twice behind two goals from Daniel O'Shea against Westover Bournemouth A before snatching a late winner to shade it 3-2 with goals from Mark Harding, Alister Paton, and Dave Mountford.
Jamie Chilcott, James Totczyk and Aaron Duncan ensured a 3-0 success for Sway Reserves against Bisterne United while Matty Greaves earned bottom place AFC Burton an impressive 2-2 draw with New Milton Linnets whose goals came from Dave Plunkett and Iain Watson.
DALEL'S TELLING BLOW
Spencer Dalel clinched a 1-0 success for Division Four champions Portcastrian when they rounded off their campaign against Newtown Conservative.
Alderholt boosted their hopes of finishing in the runners-up spot when Kevin Crabb (2), Ollie Reynolds and Paul Lockyer gave them a 4-0 victory over promotion rivals Walkford.
Kenny Wilson's hat-trick proved decisive in Old Bourne-mouthians' 4-2 success against Magpies and Woolsbridge United. Ashley Williams was the other Oakmead scorer with Ruben Fernandez and Colin Brown replying for Magpies.
Mark Chiverton's fortieth minute header ensured a 1-0 win for Malt n Hops United against Stourvale while Redlynch and Woodfalls United Reserves accounted for Cherry Bees 4-1 with goals from James Hunt, Tom Sainsbury, Matthew Hibberd and Chris Jackson.
Wessex Lions netted through Luke Austin and an own goal but bottom-placed Winton CC just got the better of them 3-2 with goals from Luke Phillips (2) and Charlie May.
Life's gr-eight for leaders
Parkside Wanderers need seven points from their four remaining games to clinch the Division Five title after their 8-1 hammering of Magpies and Woolsbridge United Reserves.
Joe Bond led the rout with a brace while Julian Belton, John Carrington, Brian McAnally, Dean Johnson, Aiden Williamson and Dave Owens were also on target for the pacesetters.
Championship rivals Bisterne United Reserves gave Griffin a 7-1 drubbing thanks to goals from Craig Frost (2), Andy Hurll (2), Dave Lock, Ashley Gritt and Simon Kerley.
Bearwood United were also 7-1 winners when George Bull (2), Leighton Clarke (2), Andy Ward (2), and Marc Scrimshaw put paid to Bournemouth UST.
Grant Cormack struck for Suttoners Civil A in their final game of the season but Gavin Jenkins earned battling Burley a 1-1 draw.
Jamie Barclay, Chris Winfield, Paul McKinley, Danny Jackson and Martin Gibbs gave Phoenix the edge 5-4 against Bournemouth EMS.
Jon Payne (2) and Shahed Miah (penalty) netted for New Milton Eagles, but they had to settle for a share of the spoils when strikes from Dan Griggs (2) and Mike Jones earned Queens Park Athletic a 3-3 draw.
TURKS TRIUMPHANT
Dean Hooper and Steve White gave fourth-placed Fordingbridge Turks Reserves a 2-0 success against Bournemouth Hospital in Division Six.
Martin Goodship and John Ranson, meanwhile, gave Screw It Carpentry the verdict 2-1 against Rockbourne.
