BRUCE Suraci hailed the performance of youngster Dominic Sadi following his four-goal haul against Newport County, insisting: “I couldn’t speak more highly of Dom.”
Sadi led the way as Cherries’ development squad thrashed their Welsh visitors 8-2 in a friendly at Canford Arena.
First-team midfielder Emiliano Marcondes bagged a brace, while Noa Boutin and Marcus Daws were also on target in the rout.
Discussing winger’s Sadi’s display, interim development squad coach Suraci told Cherries’ website: “I couldn’t speak more highly of Dom.
“In terms of him as a character, we see someone that works hard, applies themselves, tries to learn and grow and improve every day.
“That attitude, I have no doubt, is why he’s done so well so far.
“For example, when I asked him what he’s learned from training with the first team, he always comes back with good answers and knowledge.”
Suraci added: “We challenge the boys every day in training in terms of challenges and he always comes through and works hard.
“Dom works as hard as anyone else and improves as much as anyone else. His attitude and character are what have really helped him.”
Former West Ham United youngster Sadi, who joined Cherries from non-league Wingate & Finchley over the summer, made his senior debut as a late substitute in the Carabao Cup trip to Norwich City in August.
He provided the assist for Brooklyn Genesini’s dramatic late equaliser, before Cherries won on penalties.
