BOSS Gary O’Neil confirmed Philip Billing was withdrawn during the first half against Crystal Palace due to injury.
The Denmark international lined up on the left of a midfield four for the clash with Patrick Vieira’s Eagles.
But Cherries struggled to impose themselves and fell 2-0 behind on 36 minutes with Jordan Ayew and Eberechi Eze converting from Michael Olise corners.
Shortly before the second goal, Billing had been down receiving treatment from Cherries’ medical staff.
He carried on, before being subbed off seven minutes before half-time, replaced by Siriki Dembele.
Asked for an update on Billing, O’Neil told the Daily Echo: “He had some pain in his hip, so not ideal.
“But we will see where he is. Hopefully we can get him back out there soon.”
Cherries, who are already without the injured David Brooks, Neto, Marcus Tavernier, Junior Stanislas and Ryan Fredericks, head to Manchester United on Tuesday.
