GOALKEEPER Martin Dubravka has left Manchester United, ahead of tomorrow's clash with Cherries.

The Slovakian had joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan switch from Premier League rivals Newcastle United.

However, Eddie Howe's Magpies have now cut short that deal, recalling him to St James' Park.

Dubravka made two appearances under Erik ten Hag, both in the Carabao Cup, in victories over Aston Villa and Burnley at Old Trafford.

Manchester United said in a statement: “We would like to thank Martin for his contribution during his time with our club, and wish him all the best for the future.”

Cherries head to Old Trafford tomorrow (8pm), looking for their first ever win at the venue.

United are likely to have David de Gea between the sticks, with veteran Tom Heaton also an option.
