CHERRIES boss Gary O’Neil remained coy over a potential reunion with Arnaut Danjuma, stating how he doesn’t “like to comment on any players that aren’t our own".
There is an interest in bringing the attacker back to the Vitality Stadium from Villarreal, where he reached the Champions League semi-finals last campaign.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals in 52 games during a two-year stint on the south coast, coming into his own during Cherries’ first season back in the Championship.
Netherlands international Danjuma briefly worked with O’Neil towards the tail end of the 2020-21 Championship, the current head coach brought to the club by Jonathan Woodgate in February 2021.
Asked about the reports, O’Neil responded: “I've worked here with him before. He's a good player.
“Don't like to comment on any players that aren't our own, so, no comment on it, really.”
